By using braiNOTES you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
braiNOTES is a free, browser-based app for handwritten notes and whiteboards that keeps your notebooks, pdfs and pictures locally on your device. The service is provided as-is without guarantees of availability or uptime.
You are solely responsible for the notes you write and the files you import, annotate or share using braiNOTES, and for holding the rights to them. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose.
You retain full ownership of all notes and notebooks you create with braiNOTES. The braiNOTES software is open source and available under its respective license on GitHub.
braiNOTES is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, braiNOTES and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service.
Since braiNOTES keeps your notebooks only in your browser, you are responsible for backing up your work, for example by exporting a .brainotes file. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from browser crashes, cleared site data, or other local issues.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of braiNOTES after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
